The Council is responsible for overseeing student organizations, managing organization funding, and harnessing our students' ingenuity and motivation to strengthen ties between our College and local, national, and global communities. Following changes made in the spring of 2008, the College of Human Medicine Student Council has been organized into four standing committees, each managed by a chairperson and comprised by several elected members. These standing committees are listed below:
As announced previously, Student Council has commissioned work on a Welcome Book for new incoming students to make the most of their new lives as CHM students. As we prepare for the publication and release of the physical book, we are proud to present an organic, perpetually evolving online version for your use. The CHMWiki can be freely edited by members of the CHM community and will serve as a repository for pertinent information for students in Block I, II, and III.
Student Council Executive Board and General Membership meeting information will be posted here as it becomes available. Videoconference information for meetings between East Lansing and Grand Rapids will also be listed.
